There’s a hair in my peanut Butter!

Have you ever noticed a dark colored speck in a can of corn? It is probably a corn ear worm chopped into tiny pieces. Or a speck of something floating in your fruit drink? It is probably part of a fruit fly maggot. Or a thing that looks like a filament in your peanut butter? It is probably a rat hair. Yes, small amounts of gross stuff get into our foods. The government gives a limit on how much (See the “Defect Level Handbook”), but you can bet there is some weird thing in your food somewhere. It is just too impossible to clean food to be 100 per cent pure.
